Why I love photographing weddings on the Gulf Islands. The start of my day was a private boat ride from the Fernwood dock to Montague Harbour on Galiano Island. We spent the morning checking out the beautiful beaches. We then went on an adventure to find the ceremony location, up a long dirt driveway past many places. We found it at the end and it was exactly how they had described it. The moment the family opened the door I knew this is was going to be a good wedding. Everyone was looking their best but there was a relaxed atmosphere that anyone could have appreciated. The family cabin was such a perfect place for Robyn and Mike to have there perfectly intimate celebration.
